Hi All: This is my first blog post and I’m so excited to connect with everyone as I launch my new website. My writing journey started when I was twelve years old and I wrote my first novel in a hardcover notebook using a fountain pen. In those days there were no personal computers or even correcting typewriters, and as there were no PCs, there were of course no online search engines either. All research had to be done at the library or using encyclopedias. Hurray for modernization!!!!
When I picked up writing again after a long hiatus, I really didn’t think I would ever be published. I just figured no publishing house would even look at me, and I didn’t know a thing about literary agents. It was actually my son who introduced me to self-publishing and the rest as they say is history. I had satisfied myself in thinking this would only be a hobby, but God had other plans and now I am writing full time and loving every minute of it.
My Heavenly Father has been so integrally involved in my writing, and I just can’t stop praising Him. My books are about relationships, especially those between men and women, but have also expanded to include relationships with other people. God has given me so much help and insight into the complexities of men and women and their differences, and I know I’ve only just scratched the surface.
There is so much more, but I’ll close this post by saying that I am grateful to all my family, friends and especially my readers for being so supportive of my journey. I look forward to engaging more with you all and ask God to richly bless and keep you. Talk to you soon.
