Description
Jacob McIntyre is a busy bachelor running his own successful private investigation and security firm in Billings, Montana. He is also getting over an injury he sustained in a firefight on Jacob’s Mountain, the property he owns in Washington state.
Due to a bad experience, Jake has shied away from having any serious romantic relationship, that is until he meets Jessica Adams, a talented pastry chef and bakery owner. They fall in love and get married. But Jessica has a secret; a secret that when exposed devastates Jake and their relationship and places her in extreme danger. It is then Jake discovers he has another mountain in his life; a mountain he must conquer before he can win back the woman who completely owns his heart and protect her from a past that comes back to haunt them; a past that threatens to take her life.
