Description
Gabriel “Ice” Michaels is an FBI agent who lost his wife Gina in a car bomb meant for him. He is part of a highly secret division of the Witness Protection Program called Elite One where he works with his best friend Jonathan Peoples and their boss Travis McAllister.
Sapphire Sterling, an author and illustrator of children’s books, was deceived by a man who was after her money. She lives and works at her family’s ancestral home, Pleasant Valley, an antebellum mansion located in Tennessee.
Gabe and Sapphire are both deeply wounded by their past but become friends when they realize neither one is interested in romance. Their friendship, however, leads to love, and they begin to build a relationship while trying to overcome their hurts and fears. Sapphire’s mistrust eventually causes a rift between her and Gabe, then trouble comes calling and Sapphire is kidnapped.
Sapphire and Ice is a story about healing from the past and having courage to face the future, but one man’s determination to eliminate the Sterling family threatens to bring it all to a premature and tragic end.
